Different channels need different packing. A wholesale warehouse, furniture retailer, online seller, and project buyer may accept different carton sizes, labels, manuals, and replacement-parts policies.
- Will the item ship assembled, flat-pack, or knock-down?
- What carton size or weight limit does the buyer's channel require?
- Does each SKU need barcode labels, carton marks, warning labels, or private-label artwork?
- Which hardware parts need to be bagged, labeled, counted, and kept as spare parts?
- Will the order load loose, on pallets, by mixed SKU, or by container plan?
